City Parks & Facilities:

Avalanche Mountain

The Avalanche Mountain Preserve comprises 300 plus acres of
woodland, offering  many types of recreational activities including
hiking, biking, skiing, skating, jogging and snowmobiling and the
newest addition, disc golf.  There are 462 steps to the top of Avalanche
with a platform available to view the City and Lake Charlevoix. Don't
worry, there are benches along the way if you need to catch your
breath!  Also available are trails for hiking or snowshoeing. Refer to
the
Cross Country Trail map.

Veteran's Memorial Park - Veteran's Memorial Park is the hub of
activity along the lakefront. The community uses the park for little
league baseball, picnicking, strolling, jogging, rollerblading and cycling,
boating, fishing, and watching sunsets from its west-facing shoreline.   
It features a community-built wooden playland for children of all ages.

Boyne City Municipal Marina - The Boyne City marina offers 42 slips
for seasonal and transient boaters, 18 of which are designated for
transient rental.  For further details or to make a reservation, please
call the marina office at (231)582-7361 between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00
p.m. You must speak with a member of the staff to make your
